Annual hunting licenses expire June 30

LITTLE ROCK – The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission wants to remind all hunters that all annual hunting licenses will expire on June 30.

Fishing licenses are valid for one year from the date of purchase, but all Arkansas hunting licenses will expire at the end of the month.

Susan Porter, assistant chief of the AGFC Fiscal Division, says licenses are available at many retail stores throughout the state and by phone, but renewing can be as simple as clicking a button on the AGFC’s website.

“Small game hunting and fishing privileges become effective immediately, and your paper license with big game tags for this fall will arrive by mail in a few days,” Porter said. “By supplying the AGFC with your email address during the license purchase process you also give us a way to get in touch with you about special programs, events and any last-minute regulations changes that may affect your hunt.”
