Bismarck man missing on DeGray Lake

arching for 47 year old Donny Beason, a boater who has been missing since last Friday. According to Debra Husley, Beason’s girlfriend, he has not been seen since just before daylight on Friday morning. She last heard from him at 12:58 a.m., when he sent her a text saying, “I love you, goodnight.”
According to reports, witnesses saw Beason’s boat driving around in circles at Arlie Moore park in DeGray Lake. Hot Spring County Sheriff Mike Cash said when the boat was found, it was out of gas and the throttle was wide open. According to reports, Beason’s life jacket and cellphone were still on board.
The search is being conducted by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, The Corps of Engineers, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office and Park Rangers. Dive teams and boats with sonar equipment are searching the water, and one volunteer has been using his drone to help search.
