Malvern’s mascot ran out onto the field with the football players on Friday, Oct. 13 including the fourth and fifth grade players. The Malvern Leopards lost the game to Joe T. Robinson 41-10. The Robinson Senators are undefeated for the year. Malvern is 2-5 (1-3.) The Leopards will face Fountain Lake this Friday. The game is away for Malvern.Acme Brick presented a donation of $5,000 to the Hot Spring County Homeless Coalition. Acme Brick, a frequent supporter of many organizations and charities in the area, has supported the Homeless Coalition for three years for a total of $6,500. The Celebrity Waiter charity dinner for Relay for Life had a great turn out on Saturday, Oct. 14.Craig Walker was the auctioneer for the live auction at the Celebrity Waiter event where they sold off an iPad, a TV and much more.Clean up for the Celebrity Waiter event started immediately after with everyone, not just the waiters, helping to clean up.
