Duck found guilty of murder
Kevin Duck, 33, was found guilty of first degree murder on Friday, March 31, 2017.
Duck was on trial for the murder of his girlfriend, Dawna Natzke, a Hot Springs Village Police dispatcher in December 2011.
The case was handed to the jury Thursday afternoon. After the state rested on Thursday, the defense also rested, without calling witnesses. The jury deliberated for several hours Thursday before Garland County Circuit Court Judge John Homer Wright called for a recess. Court reconvened Friday morning.
After the jury found Duck guilty of murder they returned with a sentence of life in prison.
